He previously worked in the Privy Council Office of the Government of Canada, as former President and Chief Executive Officer of Metrolinx, and has held a variety of roles at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.

Some highlights under Mike’s 25-year leadership include work surrounding the Canadian Guide to Neighbourhood Traffic Calming (1998); collaborative initiatives with the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers; and cross-country seminars based on TAC’s Bikeway Traffic Control Guidelines for Canada (2012).
