Scholarships

In 2025, the TAC Foundation is pleased to offer students the opportunity to apply for scholarships valuing between $2500 and $6000. The scholarships are intended to help support their post-secondary education in transportation-related studies.

The scholarships are competitive and based on the applicant’s specific transportation goals, academic record and transportation-related activities or job skills.

Top applicants will be invited to share information about their employment interests with donor organizations through the Employment Connections component of our program.

Eligibility

All applicants:

Must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Must be enrolled at a post-secondary institution (university or college) in an academic program related to, and hope to pursue a career in, the planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance and program management of road and highway infrastructure and urban transportation. This includes, but isn’t limited to, civil and transportation engineering.
May only be awarded one (1) TAC Foundation scholarship at each stage of their education (college/CEGEP, university undergraduate, graduate).
May apply for and receive scholarships from other sources.

College/CEGEP student and university undergraduate applicants:

Must be enrolled in at least two semesters of full-time studies from September 2025 through August 2026, and have completed at least 50% of their current degree by September 2025.

Note: Co-op semesters administered through post-secondary institutions may be used to meet this requirement.

University graduate student applicants:

Must be admissible to or enrolled in a full-time transportation-related graduate (masters or doctorate) program in a transportation-related discipline.
Must complete at least two semesters of full-time studies from September 2025 through August 2026.
