Let the TAC Foundation put your application for a paid summer internship position in front of some of Canada’s top transportation employers!

Internship Eligibility

Applicants must be:

  • Legally allowed to work in Canada.
  • Enrolled at a post-secondary institution (university or college) in an academic program related to, and hope to pursue a career in, the planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance and program management of road and highway infrastructure and urban transportation. This includes, but isn't limited to, civil and transportation engineering.

Deadlines & Timelines

DATE ACTIVITY
January 4 Application period opens.
January 20 through March 31 Applications are forwarded to the participating companies for their review every two (2) weeks. Leading candidates may be contacted by the participating companies before the application period closes. 
March 31 Application period closes. 
May to August Successful candidates complete their internship at the participating companies.

To support post-secondary education in transportation-related studies, the TAC Foundation offers students the opportunity to apply for scholarships valuing between $2500 to $6000.
