  2. Shaw Centre – The conference will be held at the Shaw Centre, 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, ON K1N, Ottawa, ON K1N 9J2.
  3. Getting to the Shaw Centre – The best way to get to the Shaw Centre is to walk from your hotel or if you are local, public transportation. Parking is not included, and hotel shuttles are not available.
  4. Accessibility – The Shaw Centre is fully accessible.  If you require accessible transportation, please ensure you make note of this during registration.  A member of the team will be notified to reach out to you directly.
  5. Fall Technical Meetings will be held primarily at the Shaw Centre and some at the Novotel Ottawa (33 Nicholas St, Ottawa, ON K1N 9M7)
  6. Hotel availability – Hotel reservations opened in March and are based on a first-come, first-served basis.  It is strongly encouraged that you book your stay as soon as possible as rooms in the downtown core are limited and in high demand.  Any remaining rooms in the negotiated hotel blocks will be released on or before August 24th (some exceptions are denoted).  After that date, you will need to find a room at whatever rate you can find online.
  7. Hotel deposit – All hotels will charge a non-refundable deposit for your first night’s stay on August 24th.  This is intended to prevent unnecessary bookings resulting in last-minute cancellations helping TAC avoid hotel penalty fees if room blocks aren’t filled.
  8. Hotel questions/changes/cancellations?  Please contact the hotel directly.
  9. Meals – Which meals are included at the conference? Full conference passes include lunches on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as well as dinner at the Monday Night Event at the Canadian Museum of History.  Various coffee breaks throughout the day are also included, as noted in the program. Day passes include lunch and coffee breaks, on that day.  The Monday day pass does not include access to the Monday Night Event; however, a ticket can be purchased in advance.
  10. Food Allergies/Dietary Requirements – When you registered, you were asked to provide your dietary restrictions.  These requests have been shared and buffet items will be identified to address most requests. Please speak to a banquet staff member should you have any questions/concerns and they will review offerings with you.
  11. Social Event Guest Passes are available for purchase online or at the registration desk until September 23rd or until the event sells out, whichever comes first.  Tickets are available for the Sunday night Welcome Reception ($125+tax) and the Monday Night Event ($150+tax).
  12. Badges:
