Sandra Majkic, P.Eng. has been named Director of Technical Programs at the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC).
Sandra, who was previously Assistant Director of Technical Programs, assumes the role replacing Sarah Wells, Ph. D. who was recently named as TAC’s Executive Director.
In her new role, Sandra will lead the Technical Programs Team in the development and delivery of TAC’s technical programs and related products.
She will oversee the ongoing support provided by the technical staff to TAC’s councils, standing committees and project steering committees; TAC’s Technical Information Services, including the TAC library; and TAC’s seminars. Sandra will also be responsible for oversight of the Association’s pooled fund project program.
A seasoned professional with a broad range of experience in transportation engineering, Sandra began her career at TAC in 2005 as a Project Manager, and has gained experience as a Program Manager and most recently as Assistant Director. Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree in traffic and transportation engineering from the University of Belgrade and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Carleton University.
