  • The Honourable Nancy Heppner has replaced the Honourable Don McMorris as Minister of Saskatchewan Highways and Infrastructure.
  • The Honourable Steven Del Duca has become the new Minister of Transportation for the Province of Ontario.
  • Paul Suvega has replaced Robert Long as Deputy Minister of Transportation for the Government of Nunavut while Jim Stevens has become Associate Deputy Minister.
  • Ken Reashor passed away on May 12, 2014 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, after a courageous battle with cancer. He began his professional career as Civil Planning Engineer for the Nova Scotia Housing Commission. Ken worked for several prestigious industry associations in Edmonton and Calgary before returning to his hometown, and working for the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) as Director of Transportation and Public Works and HRM's Traffic Authority from 2003 to 2014. Ken was a member of many industry organizations including the Transportation Association of Canada's (TAC) Board of Directors and Chief Engineers' Council.
  • Delegates attending the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) 77th Annual Conference have elected Brad Woodside, Mayor of the City of Fredericton, Nova Scotia, to lead the FCM as President in 2014-2015.
