MMM Group Acquisition Completed

On October 15, 2015, WSP Global Inc. completed its acquisition of MMM Group Limited, one of the largest privately-owned engineering consulting companies in Canada with approximately 2,000 employees.  

WSP, providing integrated solutions and services in transforming the built environment and restoring the natural environment, will now have approximately 8,500 employees in Canada, bringing its global workforce to 34,000 employees. The firm’s expertise includes environmental remediation, urban planning, and designing sustainable transport networks. MMM is a leader in public-private partnerships (P3s), more particularly in the delivery of large-scale, complex P3 projects involving transportation, highways, bridges, transit, airports and buildings.

David Ackert will continue as President and Chief Executive Officer of WSP Canada Inc. Hugo Blasutta, Chief Executive Officer of MMM, has joined the corporate team of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.
