A newly released study for the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) has examined transit ridership from 1991 to 2016 in more than 100 Canadian communities. Researchers from the University of Toronto investigated and measured the relative importance of 79 different factors related to demographics, land use, economic conditions, and service characteristics.
