The City of Vancouver is actively facilitating a transition to electric vehicles (EVs) as part of its long-term goal of 100% renewable transportation before 2050. The City’s EV Ecosystem Strategy emphasizes the City’s important role as a market incubator for EV uptake, and identifies 32 priority actions to deploy EV charging infrastructure. Vancouver’s experience as an EV leader can help other municipalities reach their own goals for planning, transportation and climate protection.
