Protected Intersection Design Guide

On September 28, 2021, City of Ottawa staff approved the Protected Intersection Design Guide technical guidance document under delegated authority. The purpose of this document is to provide guidance on the design of protected intersections within the City of Ottawa. The Guide aligns with current legislation, regulations, and high-level policies, and builds upon pre-existing protected intersection guidance included in various national, provincial, and City documents. The Protected Intersection Design Guide provides a design process framework for developing protected intersections.
