Helping people move around safely in a pandemic requires creativity, resourcefulness, and a willingness to rethink old ways of doing things. In this webinar, senior staff from the City of Toronto and City of Vancouver explained how changes to their streets, sidewalks and signals are enabling personal mobility and economic recovery while supporting public health, equity and sustainability.

Jacquelyn Hayward - Director of Transportation Project Design & Management, City of Toronto
Jacquelyn is responsible for delivering Toronto’s multimodal transportation infrastructure and road safety projects. The City of Toronto has several initiatives underway in response to COVID-19 including the CurbTO, ActiveTO and CaféTO programs. She has 17 years of experience and is Vice-Chair of TAC’s Transportation Finance Committee as well as a Board Member for WTS Toronto Area Chapter.

Paul Storer - Director of Transportation, City of Vancouver
Paul is responsible for Vancouver’s Transportation Division, including multimodal transportation planning, operations and projects. Vancouver has several initiatives underway in response to COVID-19 including the Room to Move, Room to Queue and Room to Load programs. He is a Professional Engineer with 15 years of experience in urban transportation.
