We extend congratulations and best wishes to Peter Hackett as he becomes Deputy Minister, Joint Regional Transportation Authority with the Nova Scotia Government. We also celebrate his long-term service to TAC. His career included volunteer roles representing Nova Scotia on the Chief Engineers Panel and chairing the local organizing committee for the 2019 conference and exhibition. In 2021, he became a member of the TAC Board of Directors when he was appointed Deputy Minister of Nova Scotia Public Works.
As President and Chair of the Board, Peter’s leadership saw TAC continue to grow and evolve with new members and volunteers, record-breaking audiences at meetings and the annual conference, and a variety of new products and services launched. His guidance and support will be missed by the Board, staff and his many friends among our membership.
