Highlights from the 2025 Spring Technical Meetings

June 6, 2025

TAC’s councils and committees gather twice a year during the Spring Technical Meetings and Fall Technical Meetings. These events, which are essential to TAC’s mission, bring together hundreds of employees from TAC member organizations, individual TAC members, and invited guests.

The 2025 Spring Technical Meetings were held online from March 31 to May 2. As always, volunteers were excited to network, share information, advance projects, and plan future learning events. More than 750 unique individuals attended 31 different meetings, for a total attendance of almost 1,350 people.

The Road Safety Committee held the most popular meeting, setting a new TAC committee attendance record with 124 participants.

Other large meetings included those of the Pavements Committee (101 attendees), Geometric Design Committee (93 attendees), Soils & Materials Committee (80 attendees), Traffic Operations & Management Committee (72 attendees), Asset Management Committee (72 attendees) and the Active Transportation Integrated Committee (62 attendees).

The Road Safety Committee, Education Committee, and Northern Transportation Infrastructure Working Group saw notable attendance growth (more than 20% above 2024 levels).
