TAC’s Annual General Meeting of Members was held online on Thursday, September 12. About 65 people participated and heard from TAC’s leadership about the Association’s achievements in 2023/24.
President Peter Hackett highlighted the growth and evolution that TAC is experiencing with new members, more people involved in the Association’s council and committee network, increasing contributions to collaborative projects and improving access to TAC’s technical resources. He observed, “This is an exciting time to be in transportation and part of TAC,” and he thanked everyone whose active participation contributes to the pursuit of TAC’s vision of transportation that makes Canada safe, healthy and prosperous.
In other business at the AGM, Treasurer Michael Thompson presented the audited financial statements and Executive Director Sarah Wells shared a summary of TAC’s performance measures and operations over the past year. Nine Directors were also elected or re-elected to the Board, which provides strategic direction and oversight for the Association.
