In July, TAC launched a new, more user-friendly website with enhanced functionality. We’ve now also linked this updated website to an improved bookstore for purchasing our publications, making it easier to access vital industry resources.
Navigating the Knowledge Centre
To explore TAC’s publications, webinar recordings, and conference papers, go to the Knowledge Centre>Technical Resources Search where you can search and filter the listings. Most resources are free, but if you’re looking to purchase one of our key publications, like the Geometric Design Guide for Canadian Roads or the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Canada, we’ve streamlined the process for you.
How to Buy Publications
When you find a publication you’d like to purchase, click the “Visit our bookstore to buy” button on the resource’s detailed page. This will direct you to the same product in our bookstore, hosted by Gilmore Global.
A pop-up message reminds you to log in to your TAC Account if you’re eligible for member prices. All the available format options and any related packages or components are now all conveniently displayed on the same product page.
Important Login Tip
Note that if you log in to your TAC Account after being directed to the bookstore, you’ll be returned to the bookstore’s home page instead of the specific product page. We apologize for this inconvenience—this issue is being addressed and will be resolved in October. For now, we suggest you return to the open browser tab showing TAC’s website, and reclick the “Visit our bookstore to buy” button to be directed to the same product in the bookstore.
