Jean-François Gysel has announced his intent to resign from the TAC Foundation (TACF), following three years as Executive Director and many more as an active member of the charity’s Board.
He will conclude his term at the end of December 2024 with much to celebrate from his tenure. Under his leadership, the Foundation delivered a valuable scholarship program, enhanced its communications and built its brand. Particularly noteworthy, Dr. Gysel led the development of a new strategic plan that positions the Foundation well for a bright future.
The TACF Board applauds Dr. Gysel’s many contributions and thanks him for his efforts at the helm of the Foundation since early 2022. TACF President Gerry Chaput said,
“Jean-François has been an outstanding champion for the TAC Foundation and a dedicated collaborator in all our initiatives. We’ll miss his enthusiasm and passion for the Foundation’s causes and wish him the best in his future endeavours.”
In response to the recommended strategic actions, the Foundation is broadening its perspective and will be commencing a search for an Executive Director early in 2025 to lead the prioritized implementation of the actions resulting from the Strategic Plan, drive critical fundraising efforts and support the Board in its work developing tomorrow’s transportation leaders.
