Your Transportation Career – Different Paths, Different Perspectives

January 15, 2025

Are you a student, young professional, or more experienced practitioner looking to make the most of a career in transportation? Hear from five Canadian leaders about what makes their work in the sector so rewarding, and what advice they’d give to others as they forge their own path.

Our panelists include civil, environmental and materials science engineers, as well as urban and environmental planners. Together, they bring decades of experience with government, consulting, academia and non-profit organizations. Through an informal discussion they will explore topics such as pursuing challenge, combatting the imposter syndrome, aligning personal and professional values, and finding work-life balance.
