Duties

Contribute to our City by joining the Integrated Transportation Department as a Transit Infrastructure Coordinator.  Move your career in the right direction!

As the Transit Infrastructure Coordinator within the Integrated Transportation Department, you will be responsible for planning and delivery of the city’s transit infrastructure - bus stops, exchanges, operating facilities, and technical systems including integration with city and region’s transportation systems. You will advise on transit infrastructure relating to City and regional plans, support transit operations on issues at transit facilities and traffic management and safety, will oversee, and support initiatives to manage and maintain transit assets and liaise with our regional and provincial partners (Central Okanagan communities, BC Transit, Ministry of Transportation) all with aim to improve the service and expand transit system utilization.
