This event will include:

  • TAC Foundation – 2017 donors and scholarship recipients will be acknowledged.
  • TAC Student Paper Awards – Principal authors of the top three student papers presented at the conference will be recognized. 
  • Enjoy a keynote presentation by Brad Gushue, Canadian Curler Olympian, 2017 Ford World Men's Curling Champion and 2017 Tim Hortons Brier Champion – Hailing from Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, this six-time provincial junior curling champion led Team Gushue to victory at the 2006 Winter Olympics – Canada’s first Olympic gold in men’s curling, and Newfoundland’s first in any sport. On home ice, the team won the 2017 Tim Hortons Brier Championship, Newfoundland and Labrador's first Brier title in 41 years. Team Gushue went on to win the 2017 Ford World Men's Curling Championship.
