In the interest of improving road safety, many jurisdictions are moving toward lower-speed (30 to 40 km/h) operations on arterial and collector roads. This webinar reviews key findings from TAC’s upcoming Design and Operation of Lower Speed Collector and Arterial Roads: Synthesis of Practice: examining the case for lower-speed roads, exploring the challenges faced in designing these lower-speed roads, and reviewing design and operational measures that work.
