TAC Spring Technical Meetings in Ottawa are Cancelled

This morning the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) confirmed that the organization’s Spring Technical Meetings, that had been scheduled for April 2-6 in Ottawa, are cancelled.

This decision was made due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, with the goal of keeping TAC members and staff as safe as possible from the Coronavirus’ associated risks.

A series of virtual meetings will be held beginning in April to continue on with council and committee business, and progress on key projects and priorities. The details and schedule of these Spring Technical Telemeetings will be shared in the coming days.

Staff are working to address any remaining meeting details and logistics with all affected stakeholders, including the meetings’ venue and hotel, participants, sponsors, invited guests, and more.

Meeting participants who made travel and hotel arrangements should contact their providers to cancel their reservations if they are no longer travelling to Ottawa.
