TAC’s work is guided by the volunteer members of our committees and councils. When TAC updated its volunteer structure early in 2020, some groups experienced a fundamental shift in their purpose, structure or operation. Several are now looking for new members to help meet their goals.
Remember, it only takes a few hours each year to make a difference as a TAC volunteer. Prior involvement is not a requirement, and we invite practitioners of all ages and backgrounds to bring their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm. Getting involved with TAC is a great opportunity to learn about what’s going on elsewhere in Canada, help identify and address important issues and be a part of a community of transportation professionals. Previous volunteers have reported benefits including technical knowledge, leadership skills and professional networks. The first step is as simple as attending an online meeting.
