TAC News Adds Search Function

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

The Transportation Association of Canada (TAC)’s website now offers a search function to help readers easily sort through TAC News articles.

Located on the TAC News webpage, visitors can use the search function in three ways: by open text search, by date or by category.

A search can be performed across one specific category, or all categories:

  • Climate Change and Environment
  • Events
  • Membership Happenings
  • People in the News
  • Pooled Fund Projects
  • Publications
  • Road Safety
  • Road Signs
  • Small Municipalities
  • TAC and Transport News
  • TAC Foundation

The three search options (open text, date and category) can be used individually or in combination with each other for narrower results.

The search function does not apply to articles written before 2014; however, past quarterly issues of TAC News from 2008-2013 are still posted on our website. From the left-hand side navigation under TAC News, click on Past Issues and select your quarterly issue.

TAC News transitioned from a quarterly issue to a blog (article by article) format in late 2013, when the Association launched a new website.  New articles continue to be featured on the home page when they are first posted on the TAC News webpage.  Members receive a monthly email highlighting the articles released during that period.

Questions or comments can be addressed to the TAC News editor
