  • The Honourable Bill Fraser has been appointed Minister of New Brunswick Transportation and Infrastructure.
  • The Honourable David Marit has been appointed Minister of Saskatchewan Highways and Infrastructure.
  • New Quebec Transport Minister Laurent Lessard has replaced Jacques Daoust.
  • Barry Day has replaced Greg Bass as Deputy Minister for Alberta Transportation.
  • Joe Dunford is the new Assistant Deputy Minister for Transportation and Works, Newfoundland and Labrador.
  • Miranda Carlberg has been appointed Acting Assistant Deputy Minister for Design and Innovation at Saskatchewan Highways and Infrastructure.
  • At the Ministry of Transportation, Ontario, Linda McAusland has become Assistant Deputy Minister, Provincial Highways Management Division; Kevin Bentley is assuming the role of Executive Director and Chief Engineer, and Shelley Tapp is Assistant Deputy Minister of Corporate Services Division and Chief Administrative Officer, all on an interim basis.
  • After 24 years at le Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification des transports, Diane Leroux has retired from her role as Department Head, Coordination of Research and Innovation, Environment and Research Division.
  • After 29 years at the Ministry of Transportation, Ontario, Gerry Chaput has accepted an opportunity with Metrolinx as Vice-President of Rapid Transit.
  • Titus Joseph has replaced Peter Lasagna as Project Lead, Traffic Safety Unit, at the City of Toronto.
  • Tim Savoie is the new City Manager at Port Moody and will oversee the introduction of the rapid transit Evergreen Line and guide growth around its stations and along the city’s western waterfront.
  • Tom Loo has been named Executive Director of the Technical Standards Branch, Alberta Transportation.
  • Rob Shirra has left ITS Canada as Managing Director and will seek new opportunities as a consultant and industry advisor. Chris Philp is the new Board Chair of ITS Canada, succeeding Michael De Santis who has served as Chair since 2013.
  • Clayton Rudy, Transportation Engineer, has moved from McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd. to Stantec Consulting Ltd.
  • Jeannette Montufar is now with MORR Transportation Consulting Ltd.
  • Stephen Buckley has left the City of Toronto. As the City undertakes its search for a new General Manager, Ashley Curtis of Transportation Services, will be overseeing day-to-day operations for the Division.
  • Leanna Belluz has left Transport Canada for Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.
  • Ana Lopez has been appointed Vice-President, Human Resources & People Development at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
