  • Paul McConnell has been appointed Acting Deputy Minister for the Government of Yukon Highways and Public Works.
  • Barbara Gray is the new General Manager of Transportation Services for the City of Toronto. Some of her key priorities will include leading the new Road Safety Plan, focusing on strategies to reduce congestion and commute times, and improving road closure management.
  • Peter Hackett has replaced Bruce Fitzner as Chief Engineer, Nova Scotia Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal.
  • Morrison Hershfield welcomes Srdjan Brasic as Vice-President of Project Delivery, Transportation, and Department Manager of the Roads and Highways division in the Toronto office. James Scale has been named Department Manager of the Roads and Highways division in the Burlington office.
  • Michael Wieck has been appointed Vice-President, Intelligent Transportation Systems Data Solutions at International Road Dynamics.
  • WATT Consulting Group has announced the following nominations in various locations across the country: Tania Wegwitz (Victoria), Senior Transportation Planner and Transit Lead; Michael Sydenham (Calgary), Senior Transportation Engineer and Project Manager; Dean Cooper (Edmonton), Principal, Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering; and Andrew Connell (Calgary), Project Manager.
