  • New ministers in New Brunswick include the Honourable Roger Melanson for Transportation and Infrastructure and the Honourable Stephen Horsman for Public Safety.
  • The Honourable David Brazil has been appointed Minister of Newfoundland and Labrador Transportation and Works and the Honourable Tony Cornect is now Minister of Service. 
  • André Corbould has been appointed Deputy Minister of Alberta Transportation.
  • Pauloosie Suvega has been appointed Deputy Minister for the Government of Nunavut, Economic Development and Transportation.
  • John Logan, Fellow of the US Institute of Transportation Engineers, member of the US National Committee on Uniform Control Devices and member of TAC’s Traffic Operations and Management Standing Committee, passed away on September 6.
  • Robert Walker has retired as Manager of Environmental Affairs, Yukon Highways and Public Works; Andrew McCoy will be Acting Manager until this position is filled.
  • Suzanne Beale has joined the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario as Executive Director/Chief Engineer.
  • Dan Havercroft is the new Associate Dean, Building and Construction Services at Mohawk College.
  • After 42 years of public service, Roger Pottle has retired as Senior Environmental Planner, Transportation and Works, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. He is now Environmental Superintendent with Marine Contractors Inc. (MCI), a heavy civil construction company in Corner Brook, NL. 
  • Ken Becking has been named Director of Operations, Corporation of the City of Owen Sound.
  • Ralph Haas has received a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Alberta. This award recognizes living graduates whose outstanding achievements have earned them national or international prominence.
