- After 42 years of public service, Roger Pottle has retired as Senior Environmental Planner, Transportation and Works, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. He is now Environmental Superintendent with Marine Contractors Inc. (MCI), a heavy civil construction company in Corner Brook, NL.
- Ken Becking has been named Director of Operations, Corporation of the City of Owen Sound.
- Ralph Haas has received a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Alberta. This award recognizes living graduates whose outstanding achievements have earned them national or international prominence.
