TAC welcomed the following organizations as members from February through March 17, 2022:

Laurie LeBlanc retired from the Ontario Public Service in February. Taking the helm as the new Deputy Minister at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation is Douglas M. Jones (effective February 14, 2022).

Premier Dennis King announced changes to the senior management team of the PEI government last month. Bob Creed has been appointed Deputy Minister of Transportation & Infrastructure, replacing Darren Chaisson who will take the lead for construction of UPEI Faculty of Medicine.

Zane Sloan has joined the Vancouver office of IBI Group as Senior Transportation Engineer.

We are saddened to learn of the death of Don Henderson. Don was a chair of TAC’s National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (NCUTC) and was involved in the development of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Canada. In his work with TAC, Don provided sound advice in preparing guidelines for geometric design, traffic calming, pedestrian standards, and temporary traffic control.
