Giffin Koerth has changed its company name to -30- Forensic Engineering. Founded in 2002, this Canadian forensic engineering and science firm works with some of the top scientists, standard-makers and specialized consultants in North America. It provides environmental engineering, forensic visualization, health and safety, and forensic engineering services.   

Catherine Karakatsanis, Chief Operating Officer, Morrison Hershfield, was inducted into the Women's Executive Network (WXN) Canada's Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame in late November. The Top 100 Awards recognize talented leaders in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors and inspire the current and next generation. Founded in 1997, WXN is a leading organization dedicated to the advancement and recognition of women in management, executive, professional and board roles.

The Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC) Annual Gala will take place at the Hilton Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec on April 1, 2017. Twenty (20) engineers will be inducted as EIC Fellows for their exceptional contributions to engineering in Canada, including Dr. Lynne Cowe Falls, Associate Professor and Director of Students, Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary.

As of January 1, 2017, the following companies using the Tetra Tech name have formally amalgamated as Tetra Tech Canada Inc.:
