Company Pitch Competition

Hosted by Sean Lecomber, comedian, TAC’s 1st Company Pitch Competition is a fun business concept that aims to introduce conference delegates to four (4) innovative companies through competition.

How the competition works: Under the theme, Innovation and Technology: Evolving Transportation, each company will present their product or service in a 90-second pitch during the Tuesday Lunch to TAC’s delegates – decision-makers from roadway and urban transportation employers.

Why Participate? This competition is a unique way to increase your company's profile by featuring an innovative product or service to valuable industry contacts. 

When:  Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 13:00 (lunch)
Where: TAC Conference & Exhibition - TCU Place, Saskatoon, SK
Cost:   $1,000

To Participate:

  • The presenting company must be a member of TAC;
  • The presenter must be 35 years old or younger;
  • The presenter must use the giant screens for his/her presentation (ex: PowerPoint, video, prezi, etc.);
  • The presenter will have 90 seconds to present the company’s product or service;
    The presentation will be timed via a live countdown.
  • The presenting companies commit themselves to the $1,000 entry fee.

About the TAC Conference & ExhibitionTAC’s conference provides a forum for the effective exchange of practical, technical transportation-related information which spins off into a various effects and advantages, including learning and knowledge transfer, networking, leadership, spreading goodwill, and more. Annually, approximately 1,200 delegates, speakers and sponsors gather from across the country to attend over 50 technical sessions, panel discussions, workshops and technical tours, covering a range of transportation’s trending issues. In addition, over 50 exhibit booths will be on display in the exhibition hall.
