The new Complete Streets Design and Construction Standards, which govern roadway design in the City of Edmonton replace the 2013 Complete Streets Guidelines.
The Complete Streets approach moves away from traditional design by designing streets that reflect the surrounding area’s context, land use and users. A complete street integrates all road users safely, including pedestrians, cyclists and motorists of all ages and abilities.
