If you’re a student pursuing studies in a transportation-related program, you can apply for a 2018 scholarship or paid internship via the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Foundation.
Apply by Wednesday, February 28 for:
The TAC Foundation supports and encourages college and university (undergraduate and graduate) students pursuing studies in the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and program management of transportation infrastructure, including urban transit.
A total of 494 scholarships valuing $2,002,000 have been provided since the Foundation first started offering scholarships in 2005. Last year, 38 scholarships valued at $165,500 were awarded through the Foundation’s internally-administered program. Another five were awarded through the partnership with the Norman Esch Foundation to students at the University of Windsor.
Eligible students can apply for paid internship positions, separate from or in addition to, a scholarship. These internships provide valuable on-the-job training, and are a great way to learn new skills and make connections with employers in the field of transportation. Internship applications are forwarded to donors for screening. Donors manage the hiring process independent of the TAC Foundation.
Application forms and eligibility requirements are now online.
