Welcome to TAC's Small Municipalities Program
This program has been set up to address the unique needs of the small municipalities within the TAC membership. The program, however, does not put a strict population definition on "small municipalities", as it aims to interest smaller city, regional and rural communities.
Through a recent survey, TAC small municipality members identified that they would prefer an informal communication structure where they could share information and discuss issues that are unique to them, without the necessity of meeting face-to-face on a regular basis. As a result, the Small Municipalities Program, at least in its initial offerings, is comprised of the following:
- web-based discussion board
- website listing of links and resources of interest
- face-to-face forum annually at TAC's conference
