The TAC Award for Service is presented to individuals who have made a long-term contribution to TAC or to the transportation sector but who have not received and do not qualify for other awards or ex-officio awards from TAC.
TAC councils may make nominations for this award to the Board of Directors. The number of nominations is limited to two per year per council. It is expected that council nominations will be determined through consultation with the council's membership and its respective standing committees. Presentation of the award occurs each year at the annual conference.
