DISTINGUISHED SERVICE Award
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes a truly exceptional long-term contribution to the Association and to the transportation sector. It is presented to individuals who have chaired at least one TAC committee or council.
Nominations for this award are made only by members of the Board of Directors. TAC council chairs are to be approached each year for suggestions that can then be conveyed to a Board member for possible follow-up. There are no restrictions on the number of nominations made each year. Nominations are ratified by the Board.
Presentation of the award takes place at the annual conference.
