Among the conference social events planned for delegates and their companions is a Down East Lobster Ceilidh. This fun-filled kitchen party or ceilidh at the Cunard Centre on the Halifax waterfront will feature your choice of succulent Nova Scotia lobster with all the trimmings or tasty barbecued chicken. You will be entertained by the “Atlantic Canada Ceilidh” in a celebration of song, laughter and good times. Don’t miss this genuine Maritime event! Also on the social program are a welcoming reception and TAC’s Annual Banquet, which will culminate in a high-energy show.

Aside from these events, organizers have prepared a special companion program that includes the previously mentioned Sunday city tour, brunch and a Halifax harbour cruise (on Monday), a day trip to Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay (on Tuesday), a day trip to Grand Pre in the Annapolis Valley (on Wednesday), as well as alternative shopping trips to Halifax malls. Activity selections will be requested prior to the conference on a first-come, first-served basis.
