Among the conference social events planned for delegates and their companions is “Explore the Ocean Floor”. The setting will be one of Canada’s most intriguing and unforgettable attractions, the Vancouver Aquarium, which has been reserved for exclusive use by TAC. While discovering a world of fascinating creatures in breathtaking surroundings, you will experience the cultural diversity of West Coast cuisine at a number of food and beverage stations. There will be other attractions and surprises at this event! Also on the social program are a welcoming reception and TAC’s Annual Banquet, which will feature a bold and vibrant array of performances.

Aside from these events, organizers have prepared a special companion program that includes the previously mentioned Sunday city tours, a day trip to Grouse Mountain and Lynn Canyon (on Monday), a choice of a morning tour of the Museum of Anthropology and Nitobe Gardens or a mid-day tour of the Vancouver Art Gallery or afternoon activities in Stanley Park (on Tuesday), and a choice of a day-long Canada Line explorer tour of Vancouver attractions with lunch or morning activities in Stanley Park or a mid-day tour of the Vancouver Art Gallery (on Wednesday). Activity selections will be requested prior to the conference on a first-come, first-served basis.
