W.H. Yeates Award for the Best Exhibit

With a view to stimulating exhibitor and delegate interest in the TAC conference exhibition, the association has established an annual award for the best display set up by a private company. The award is named in honour of W.H. Yeates, a former chief executive officer of TAC, who was instrumental in developing the exhibition.

Award winner

The award for the best exhibit
at TAC's 2009 conference
went to ARMTEC.

The general criteria for the award are as follows:

  • environmental sensitivity;
  • best use of available space;
  • most effective visual delivery of information;
  • best use of other means of provision of information;
  • originality in presenting the company's products or services;
  • most attractive exhibit; and
  • compliance with all the rules and regulations of the exhibition.
A committee comprising representatives of organizations not exhibiting in a given year is appointed by the association to select the winner of the award.

This year's award winner will be announced at the Awards Luncheon, and will receive a special plaque following the conference.
