Paper Submissions
Individuals are encouraged to submit abstracts for the paper sessions listed here. Submissions on topics other than those listed may also be considered.
Abstracts should be 200 to 400 words in length and provide details on the background of the issues addressed, objectives of the work described, methodology applied and conclusions reached. Abstracts will be reviewed for quality, relevance to the session theme, general interest and overall significance. Proposed papers must also be new, original or significantly different from any other that the author may have submitted to other organizations for presentation or publication (exceptions may apply). Papers that favour special interests or are of a commercial nature will not be considered.
Those authors whose abstracts receive tentative approval will be asked to submit a full paper for review by May 7. The full paper will then be reviewed in accordance with the above-mentioned criteria. Following this final review, the paper will either be: (1) formally accepted; (2) accepted on the condition that specific revisions are made no later than July 9; or (3) rejected.
All authors will be required to adhere to format guidelines included with their tentative acceptance. Failure to abide by guideline standards may result in a paper being eliminated either from the conference session, the formal proceedings, or both.
When an author submits a paper to TAC in response to this call for papers, the document becomes the property of the Association, which is entitled to publish it.
