Call for Papers
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) is now organizing the technical program for its 2013 conference. The purpose of the Call for Papers is to solicit abstracts for the technical paper sessions. The abstract (maximum length of 200-400 words) must be submitted online and meet submission criteria.
NEW THIS YEAR! As poster sessions provides an opportunity for greater interaction between authors and delegates, a Call for Posters will also be held in conjunction with the Call for Papers for the 2013 TAC Conference.
Once you have reviewed the submission criteria, you may submit your abstract for either the technical paper sessions or the poster sessions to respond to the call. Please note that all deadlines must be respected as no exceptions will be granted.

The 2013 conference theme, Transportation: Better – Faster – Safer, which should be interpreted in its broadest sense, will focus on innovative programs, techniques or processes as well as emerging opportunities for creating a more sustainable transportation system.
The conference program includes technical paper sessions, panel discussions, workshops and poster sessions.
Please note:
- Workshops will be held on Wednesday, September 25.
- Panel discussions will take place throughout the conference.
- Panel discussions and workshops will feature invited speakers. They are outlined to illustrate the wide variety of topics that will be covered at TAC’s conference. More information on panel discussions and workshops will be provided at a later date.
- Poster sessions will be held on Tuesday, September 24.
In Fredericton we celebrated innovations and opportunities in transportation. In Winnipeg, we will focus on the conference theme through a comprehensive trade show, technical tours, paper sessions, panel discussions, workshops and poster sessions. The importance of transportation to Canada’s economic well-being and our role in promoting innovation in transportation will be showcased in a cosmopolitan city offering both choice and diversification.
Good luck with your submission! We appreciate your interest in partnering with TAC to build a great technical program.
