The 2012 conference theme, Transportation: Innovations and Opportunities, which should be interpreted in its broadest sense, will focus on innovative programs, techniques or processes as well as emerging opportunities for creating a more sustainable transportation system.
The conference program includes technical paper sessions, panel discussions and workshops.
Please note:
- Workshops will be held on Wednesday, October 17.
- Panel discussions will take place throughout the conference.
- Panel discussions and workshops will feature invited speakers. They are outlined to illustrate the wide variety of topics that will be covered at TAC’s conference. More information on panel discussions and workshops will be provided at a later date.
For the 2012 conference, TAC also plans to organize a limited number of poster sessions in order to allow for greater interaction between authors and delegates.
These sessions will be developed based on an assessment of the abstracts received in response to the call for papers.
In Edmonton, we celebrated successes. In Fredericton, we will continue to build on them by gathering and exchanging relevant ideas and information through a comprehensive trade show, numerous technical tours, paper sessions, panel discussions and workshops. The importance of transportation to Canada’s economic well-being and our role in promoting innovation in transportation will be showcased in a cosmopolitan city offering both choice and diversification.
Good luck with your submission! We appreciate your interest in partnering with TAC to build a great educational program.
