Transportation 2014 Lecture at Dalhousie University

The first lecture of the Transportation 2014 campaign, entitled Future Challenges in Transportation Roadway Infrastructures, will take place on Wednesday, March 19. 

The lecture is being held thanks to the partnership support of LED Roadway Lighting and Nova Scotia Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, and is being hosted by Dalhousie University in Halifax.

Speakers will include:

  • Dr. Ahsan Habib, Transportation Professor, Dalhousie University
  • Steve Elder, Chief Technology Officer, LED Roadway Lighting Ltd.
  • Christine Eisan, Senior Policy Advisor, Traffic Engineering & Road Safety, Nova Scotia (NS)Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal
  • Krise Jones, Research & Policy Advisor, Traffic Engineering & Road Safety, NS Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal

“The Transportation 2014 lecture series provides an opportunity to come hear some of the most knowledgeable transportation leaders discuss interesting and pressing issues confronting this industry,” says Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Dalhousie University, Dr. L. Joshua Leon. “We are honoured to hold the first lecture in the series at Dalhousie University.”

The 90-minute lecture, beginning at 17:00, will take place at Dalhousie University, Goldberg Computer Science Building, 6050 University Avenue, room 127. Admission is free and open to everyone.
