Panel of Experts Debate BC Roadways at Transportation 2014 Lecture

A panel of industry experts will discuss British Columbia’s valuable highway assets at the April 23 Transportation 2014 Vancouver lecture, Innovative Design and Development for World Class Roadways in British Columbia

“Our panel will share what they recognize to be innovative opportunities allowing British Columbia to employ the latest in cost-effective technology in roadway construction, rehabilitation, maintenance and road safety,” says panel moderator Dirk Nyland, Chief Engineer, Highways Department, British Columbia Transportation and Infrastructure. 

Panelists will include:

  • John B. Fussell, Vice President, Associated Engineering
  • Paul de Leur, Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC)
  • David Ching, Vice President, Business Development, Mainroad Holdings Ltd.
  • Raheem Dilgir, P. Eng., President, Transafe Consulting Ltd.
  • Patrick Wiley, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Ecopave Systems Inc.

The 90-minute panel discussion, beginning at 9:30 am, will take place at the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel, 300-999 Canada Way. Admission is free and open to everyone upon registering online.  Networking will begin at 9:00 am.
