New TAC Webinars Now Open for Registration

Friday, January 6, 2017

Four new Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) webinars headline the 2017 schedule, and are now open for registration.

Webinar registrants signing up for the January 26 webinar on TAC’s National Guidelines for Work Zone Safety in Canada (2016) will receive a one-time, 15% discount on copies purchased (PTM-WZS-E) . A promo code will be provided as part of the webinar registration confirmation email.

TAC offers individual member and non-member registration rates, as well as group rates, which allow multiple viewers to access the webinar via one computer login.

Other TAC webinars in 2017 are expected to include:

  • preparing for automated vehicles at the City of Toronto;
  • safety in active modes of transportation;
  • load management practices for weak pavement structures;
  • the Canadian Roundabout Design Guide; and
  • traffic monitoring practices guide for Canadian provinces and municipalities.

Have an Idea for a Future Webinar Topic?

If you have a topic to suggest for a webinar, review and complete the Webinar Proposal Form on TAC’s website. All proposed webinar topics will be forwarded to the most appropriate TAC committee, which will consider alignment of the topic and its learning objectives with the committee’s mandate and priorities, and availability of appropriate presenter(s).

If you need more information on TAC's Learning Program, email seminars@tac-atc.ca or call 613-736-1350 x226.
